SOUTHERN PECAN PIE

1 1/2 c. pecans (halves or pieces)

3 eggs

1/2 c. sugar

1/2 stick butter

1 c. white Karo

1 t. vanilla

1/4 t. salt

1 deep-dish uncooked pie shell

Cream sugar and butter in a mixing bowl.  Add eggs one at a time, stirring after each addition.  Add Karo, pecans and seasoning.  Continue stirring until mixture is well blended.  Fill pie shell.  Bake at 350 for about one hour.  Cool about 2 hrs. before serving.
