CHESS SQUARES

Crust:

1 box yellow cake

1/2 c. oleo, melted

1 c. chopped nuts

1 egg

1 t. vanilla

Mix ingredients together until crumbly.  Spread in a 9 X 13 pan.  Work from the center and make crust slightly higher around the edges.

Filling:

1 (8oz.) cream cheese

3 eggs

1 box powdered sugar

Beat well and pour into crust.  Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes to 1 hour or until brown.
