EGG CUSTARD

3/4 c. sugar

1/2 stick butter

5 eggs

Dash of salt

1/2 t. vanilla

1/4 t. nutmeg

2 c. milk

1 (9") pie crust

Mix sugar and butter.  Beat 2 minutes.  Add eggs, salt, vanilla, and nutmeg.  Add milk and beat.  Pour into crust and bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes.
