YELLOW CAKE MIX

2 c. sifted flour

1 c. milk

2 eggs

1/2 c. vegetable

1 t. vanilla

1 1/3 c. sugar shortening

Sift flour and sugar together, add shortening and 3/4 c. milk.  Beat two minutes on medium speed.  Add remaining 1/4 c. milk, vanilla and eggs.  Beat two more minutes.  Pour into greased cake pan and bake on 375 for 30-35 minutes.
